(Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation)
As of August 12, 2026, the first obligations of the European Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) have come into force. Brilliant Group actively follows the developments regarding this regulation and collaborates with its suppliers and manufacturers to ensure that the packaging we supply meets the applicable requirements arising from Regulation (EU) 2025/40.
We declare that for the packaging we offer or distribute on the market, we have the information that can reasonably be expected from us as an importer, distributor, and wholesaler, and that we comply with the obligations applicable to us under the PPWR.
The compliance of packaging is substantiated by information, declarations, and documentation from manufacturers, producers, and suppliers within the supply chain. The technical documentation and any conformity declarations are kept available by the responsible market participants in accordance with the requirements of the PPWR.
This documentation is intended for competent market supervisory authorities and does not need to be routinely provided to customers or other supply chain parties under the PPWR.
The PPWR is being phased in. For various future obligations such as labeling and digital product passports, the implementation rules are still being further developed by the European Union. Once additional information becomes available and legal obligations come into effect, we will adjust our information provision accordingly.
