Technical details
Tritex material is produced by bonding multiple layers of spunbonded and meltblown polypropylene fibers together at high temperatures. This manufacturing process results in a strong, durable, and low-lint structure. The addition of a hydrophilic coating ensures optimal and consistent liquid absorption and drainage, which contributes to an even distribution of the disinfectant across the surface.
Chemical formulation
Pal TX IPA Surface disinfectant wipes are formulated with isopropyl alcohol. Isopropanol is commonly used as a disinfectant for hands and surfaces and is non-corrosive to most surfaces. Alcohols are most effective when combined with purified water to promote diffusion through the pathogen’s cell membrane, a key part of the inactivation process. A mixture of 70% isopropanol diluted with water is effective against many bacteria.
Specific uses for IPA wipes
Wet wipes for manual disinfection. Use is permitted exclusively as a means of combating bacteria (excluding bacterial spores and mycobacteria) and yeasts on surfaces and equipment in areas where food and beverages are prepared, handled, and stored. The instructions for use as provided in the user manual must be followed. The product is intended for professional use only.
Instructions for use and application of IPA Wipes
The product is ready to use and suitable for disinfecting materials and surfaces in the food industry. Thoroughly moisten the surface with Pal TX IPA Surface Disinfectant Wipes and ensure it remains wet for the entire contact time. Allow the surface to air dry after disinfection; rinsing is not necessary. The minimum contact time is 1–3 minutes. Close the package tightly after use. Only moist wipes are effective.
