Ultrasil 120 is a professional, highly alkaline cleaning agent free of chlorine and wetting agents. It is an effective process cleaner for membrane filtration systems and is CIP compatible. Suitable for cleaning micro-, ultra-, and nanofiltration systems, as well as reverse osmosis (RO) systems in the dairy industry.

Exclusively developed for use in combination with Ultrasil 620 during the enzyme step of the Ultrasil MembraneCARE 2.0 program. Non-foaming and excellent dirt removal, improves productivity, shortens CIP time, and helps to increase membrane capacity by up to 10%. Supplied in a 24 kg jerrycan.
Ultrasil 120 is a strong alkaline liquid detergent containing a combination of organic and inorganic complexing agents and alkaline carriers. Shows very favorable results, also within other membrane applications besides those in dairy processes.
Material resistance Ultrasil 120 is suitable, under the application conditions described below, for use on:
Metals including Austenitic CrNi steel grades (quality minimum DIN 1.4301 = AISI 304). Discoloration may occur with copper.
Membrane material including: polysulfone, fully aromatic polymide, polyacrylonitrile, polypropylene, α-aluminum oxide, zirconium dioxide. Polypiperazine amide, polyetherurea, polyvinyl difluoride, and cellulose may cause limited resistance.
