RIDA QUICK Gliadin allergen rapid test gluten ready-to-swab

RIDAQUICK Gliadin (ready-to-use rapid test) can be used as a swab for gluten detection on surfaces in hygiene control and in cleaning water (CIP water). The test has been developed to detect low levels of gluten (contamination). No high-dose-hook effect is observed at high concentrations.

• For surfaces during hygiene control and for the qualitative detection of gliadin/gluten in raw materials.
• The test may only be used for the detection of small amounts of gluten (contaminants).

• Gliadin/gluten determination can be performed for numerous raw materials after simple ethanol extraction.
• The monoclonal antibody R5 reacts with the gliadin fraction of wheat and corresponding prolamins of rye and barley.
• 25 dip sticks (one for each determination).
• Incubation time of 5 minutes.
• Visual evaluation.

Especially grain dust in the air leads to gliadin contamination in production. Cleaning of surfaces must be carried out with alcoholic solutions. Subsequently, cotton swabs are used to check whether the cleaning of the surfaces was sufficient.
