Hydrated with NEOGEN patented Broad Spectrum Neutralizer, which offers effective neutralizing capability for a variety of disinfectants used in the food and beverage industry, including quaternary ammonium-based disinfectants, high-acid hydrogen peroxide-based chlorine-based and peroxyacetic acid.

Broad Spectrum Neutralizer is formulated with components accepted for use in the food industry and contains no known allergenic components, animal-derived materials (ADM), polymerase chain reaction inhibitors (PCR), or components derived from genetically modified organisms (GMOs). It is also designed to be compatible with NEOGEN Petrifilm plates and the NEOGEN Molecular Detection System, and offers a shelf life of up to 96 hours at refrigerated temperatures.

NEOGEN Environmental Scrub Sampler Stick contains an additive to make it detectable by metal detectors*. The ergonomic handle design accommodates various grip types, features a thumb stop to promote aseptic sampling technique, and has a user-friendly mechanism for one-step removal.

NEOGEN Environmental Scrub Sampler Stick with 10 ml Broad Spectrum Neutralizer comes in a NEOGEN Sample Pack measuring 15.24 cm x 28 cm with a capacity of 0.89 L for safe and convenient transport to the laboratory. The sample pack is double-laminated for stronger puncture resistance and durability during mixing or shipping. The wire strands ensure a secure closure and feature a blue top and a large white writing area to aid in package identification. The sample pack and sampling device are disinfected by gamma radiation.
