AlerTox Sticks Fish is a simple and fast test to detect fish on surfaces and in solid & liquid product samples. Thanks to its simple method, it is an effective tool to prevent cross-contamination and support the implementation and compliance with HACCP, ISO 22000, BRC & IFS.

The test uses a combination of antibodies against tropomyosin, an important protein antigen found in the striated muscles of bony fish. The test also detects a related antigen from cartilaginous fish (sharks and sturgeon), albeit with significantly lower sensitivity.
