A full-face mask must be used with EN 141 or EN 143 Class 1 or 2 certified filters. The Optifit Twin is certified according to EN 136:1998 and offers the following nominal protection factors or assigned protection factors:

- Optifit Twin + gas: NPF = 2000
- Optifit Twin + combined: NPF = 1000
