The HI98192 is a portable measuring instrument capable of measuring conductivity, resistivity, TDS, NaCl, and temperature, using just a single electrode that automatically selects the correct measurement range. The HI98192 waterproof, portable conductivity meter features an extensive conductivity range of 0.001 µS/cm to 400 mS/cm, resistivity, and three salinity scales. The nominal cell constant can be adjusted by the user.

The meter features seven different calibration standards to choose from, for one- to five-point calibration. Both linear and natural water temperature compensation are available, and the reference temperature is adjustable by the user. Ten sets of measurement parameters can be saved as a customized user profile (such as reference temperature, temperature compensation mode, TDS factor, calibration, etc.) and reviewed for later use.

Data can be captured using the manual logging option (400 samples) or by interval logging (from 5 seconds to 1 minute). Data transfer of your log files is done via the included USB cable and Hanna Instruments' HI92000 software for Windows. A combination of fixed and variable keys allows for fast, intuitive operation in a range of languages. Clear GLP data is available by pressing the GLP key. By pressing just one key, you can access the contextual help menu to obtain information and guidance for each option.

This instrument is designed for field use, can be easily operated with one hand, and comes in a robust carrying case. Battery life is approx. 100 hours. Batteries can be easily replaced by the user.
