Ecolab Ultrasil 132 alkaline cleaner

Ultrasil 132 is a liquid alkaline cleaning agent for membrane filtration systems. Specifically for the cleaning of microfiltration, ultrafiltration, and dialysis systems. EDTA-free and widely used within the food industry, particularly in breweries and the beer and beverage industry.

Suitable for use in CIP process cleaning. Supplied in a 26 kg jerrycan and extremely suitable for removing dirt from most membranes. Contains potassium hydroxide and organic complexing agents for improved, shorter washout.

Material resistance
Metals: Stainless steel 304 / 316 is not affected. Copper and brass may discolour. Aluminium must not be treated with Ultrasil 132.
Membrane materials: Suitable for all alkali-resistant membranes, including polysulfone, polypropylene, aluminium oxide, and zirconium dioxide. Under certain conditions also suitable for polyamide and cellulose membranes. Cellulose acetate, modified polyamide, and polyvinyl fluoride membranes may be affected by the high pH value.
